Dr. Ambrose Ngere is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D-USIU Africa) and an experienced General Clinician with close to three decades in clinical practice in government, NGOs and private practice. Ambrose is also trained in community health (AMREF) with vast experience in HIV/AIDS prevention programs; mental health advocacy and prevention. Ambrose is a member of Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association. He has served the community through various local and international organizations such Kenya Red Cross Society in their HIV/AIDS program;APMS Kenya chapter in their HIV research program; CARE International- working with the refugee community in Dadaab and the local community.

Ambrose conducts psychotherapy and psychometric tests where necessary to clients according to their individual needs. He is the proprietor of Ogwedhi Health Clinic where he attends to both medical and psychotherapy clients. He is also involved in offering probono services to the needy clients from the neighboring slums like Soweto and Kamae.

Other than the professional obligations, Ambrose has been active in various church activities and welfare groups. He is currently the Chairman of DECA WELFARE, an association comprising of different professionals founded on a profamily philosophy. It advances the interest of each member through regularized means of supporting the families in personal advancement both in psychosocial and economic ventures.
